On the Street interview with The Email Guide

Over the weekend I attended PodCamp Toronto 2010, where I hooked up for this interview with Jeff from the Email Guide.

We discuss:

  • The issues facing people using eMail marketing such as pushing the envelope of permission – you can’t transfer permission from one organization to another.
  • List rental done right means simply sending/placing an ad in someone else’s eMail list/campaign message in order to drive subscribers to your list.

Takeaway: Permission is granted directly to you. You cannot buy permission.
